Communicating Complex Data

Client: Emblation

Clinical trial and marketing survey results are essential but notoriously difficult to digest: long tables, dense text, and graphs that don’t always tell the full story.  On this job for Emblation's Swift brand, the challenge was to take this complexity and present it in a way that was clearer, quicker to absorb, and more visually consistent to expert audiences in the Healthcare sector.

I translated the findings into structured motion graphics. Instead of passively scanning static charts, viewers were guided through the data step by step. My focus was not on making the information flashy, but on making it accessible: using hierarchy, pacing, and subtle animation to direct attention and reduce cognitive load.

Impact

The result was a set of animations that didn’t aim to entertain but to inform. By making the results easier to parse, stakeholders could focus on what the data meant, rather than struggling with what the data said.  This demonstrated how motion design can play a vital role in turning complex, specialist information into accessible communication tools.
