In-House Creative Partnership
Client: Emblation Microwave
As lead designer for Nine Zero Digital, I worked closely with the commercial department at Emblation as an in-house creative partner.
I developed and maintained the visual identity across the business, translating it into everything from marketing campaigns and digital content to presentations, print, events and motion.
With design and motion treated as part of the same creative toolkit, I could select the most effective format for each communication rather than forcing every message into a single medium. The result was a flexible creative approach that could respond to different audiences, objectives and channels while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
Work Produced
I was responsible for the creative output across the business, from initial concept and visual direction through to design, animation and production.
• Visual Identity: Developing and applying Swift's visual identity across marketing communications, establishing a consistent look and feel while adapting it to different requirements.
• Campaigns & Marketing: Creating campaign concepts and assets across digital, social, print and marketing collateral, from initial idea through to final production.
• Motion & Animation: Bringing the same visual language into motion, using animation where movement could communicate an idea more effectively than static design.
• Clinical & Technical Communication: Translating complex clinical information into clear communications and strategically selecting the appropriate format for the audience. A key example was an animated presentation of clinical trial results, using motion and information design to make detailed data easier for specialist audiences to understand and retain.
• Presentations & Sales: Designing PowerPoint presentations and sales materials that allowed complex products and propositions to be communicated clearly and consistently.
• Events & Physical Communications: Extending the identity into exhibition graphics, printed materials and other physical touchpoints.
Impact
Bringing design and motion together within a single creative approach gave Swift a consistent visual presence across a wide range of communications, while allowing each message to use the format best suited to its audience and purpose.
The approach enabled the business to move quickly from idea to finished communication without compromising the quality or consistency of the brand — from everyday marketing assets through to complex clinical and technical communications.
